Position Overview: Designs, monitors and implements standards and procedures that are cost effective, innovative, and maximize customer satisfaction for all activities relating to Materials Operations. Implements a system of continuous quality improvement for all areas under direct supervision and provides supervision, leadership and guidance to assigned staff.

 

Requirements: Bachelors Degree required. Six years Hospital Materials Management experience equivalent to Bachelors. Three years direct supervision of a sizable team required. A self starter with strong organization skills.

 

Certification preferred: APICS, CMRP, and Supply Chain
Chief Nursing Officer(CNO)

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) directs and coordinates functions and activities of nursing department and assigned clinical departments.  Consults with and advises Chief Executive Officer on the general operation of the hospital.  Develop nursing and clinical departments’ goals, objectives, standard of performance, policies and procedures.  Organizes nursing and clinical departments according to administrative and nursing service guidelines; ensures compliance with legal, organizational and medical staff standards. Has authority and responsibility for establishing, directing, and implementing the Standards Practice and the Clinical operations and financial Matters related to all Nursing clinical care areas and functions.

The CNO:

  • Participates with hospital leaders, governing board, medical staff and clinical staff in developing the hospital’s mission, strategic plan, budget, resources allocation, operational plans and policies.
  • Serves as an active member of the senior leadership team of the hospital interacting with the medical executive staff, governing board and other groups as appropriate.
  • Participates in planning and creating the hospital’s strategic, operational, service design and other organizational plans and policies to achieve the mission and vision of the hospital.
  • Plans and develops departmental budgets, revenue, capital and operational expenses, sufficient number of staff and any other plan for allocation of fiscal or other resources according to the scope of services provided.
  • Directs the coordination and integration of departmental services with other departments and the hospital’s primary function.
  • Assure fiscal resource allocation to support current and potential nursing objective and initiatives to optimize the provision of quality and cost effective care.
  • Develops as positive image and relationship in the community and serves as a visible advocate for the hospital in working with area nursing programs, other healthcare institutions and community organizations.
  • Establishes credibility with patients, physicians, staff and colleagues through the continuation of excellent patient care and the enhancement of clinical competencies across the organization as appropriate.

Requirements

It is imperative that this individual be a confident and influential leader with outstanding people skills, while still being results focused and decisive.  Must have a high energy level a sense of urgency, be team oriented, mature, motivational and culturally sensitive.  Must have a clear track record of facilitating operational excellence, business development and physician relationship building.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance or clinical specialty.

related departments. Plans and organizes training for unit staff members, and participates in guidance and educational

programs and provides direct patient care when necessary.

 

Requirements: BSN, 3 years experience as Manager/Unit Manager/Charge Nurse/Team Leader and 3-5 years clinical experience in Oncology in an acute care setting.

Nurse Manager Med/Surg Unit

Director of Case Management

Director of Case Management      TX & NM

The Director of Case Management will be responsible for the planning, directing the Case Management and Medical Management Program.

 

Duties will include:

  • Strategic planning, developing and implementing the case management /medical management program to meet the needs of the hospital  

  • Resource person to executive team, department managers, and medical staff. Provide education to the physicians, administration and staff.

  • Supervision of employees, and budget

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing, 

  • Masters Degree: MSN, MHA, MBA  

  • Licenses/Certification: Certified Care Manager (CMC) certification preferred.  

  • Five (5) years Case management /Utilization experience in a hospital setting 

  • Three (3) to five (5) years management/leadership experience.

 

Director for Surgical Services

Director for Surgical Services     Arizona, GA, Mississippi & TX

 

 

Directs all aspects of management and ensures the provision of optimum patient care for a Surgical Services, provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, strategies, and services Surgical Services.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Masters degree required. Masters degree must be in Nursing.

Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse

Five years of  Clinical experience

Three years of nursing leadership

Physician Finance Manager

Physician Finance Manager

     Salary -$75K-95k
Location Central Texas

1.  Manages the budget and strategic planning processes for the assigned area.
2.  Performs major role in monthly financial statements closing. Responsibilities include review of judgmental technical areas which require judgment based on experience in complex system/accounting financial areas.
3.  Reviews, analyzes and ensures the accuracy of the Network's financial and statistical reports for presentation to management. Reporting includes leadership team reporting, SLT reporting and Board and Finance Committee reports.  Assigned specific operating unit responsibility for the accurate, consistent and timely financial reporting. 
4.  Presents proactive ideas about creating operational efficiencies within the Network and the assigned operating units.
5.  Conducts special financial studies and projections and develops recommendations for financial decision making.
6.  May directly supervise others to include personnel management (hires, promotion, discipline, etc.), completion of performance reviews, and continuous development of staff.

 Position Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Healthcare Administration is required.  Master's degree is preferred.  Five (5) years of financial/accounting/process experience to include budgeting, strategic planning, process improvement, or financial systems maintenance is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Knowledge and understanding of accounting cycle is required. 

Significant systems skills (databases, spreadsheets) are preferred.
